Magnifying Abilities is a social/recreational program for persons with mental and physical disabilities. The program was established in 1987 through the Carver and Scott County Community Education and the Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative. The program is designed to enhance the community involvement and life long learning of adults with disabilities. Adults who participate in the program are generally from Carver and Scott County, but may include individuals from surrounding areas. Through the program adults with disabilities may participate in craft classes, tours, sporting events and informational classes. Persons with disabilities may also receive assistance when signing up for any community education class.
